There’s a lot for you to get involved in. And, everything is always open to kids of all ages. Yes, even toddlers too!

New Projects

For the love of seniors | march 2019

Our senior citizens are so cool (and important)! We’re spending the whole month lifting them up and doing nice things for our 60 and over crowd. From random acts of kindness, to dishing out SunshineBags, to making hot meals for a senior living facility, we have a lot planned to give back!

Loving our planet | april 2019

We only have one Earth, so we need to take care of it, right? That’s why we’ll focus on keeping our community clean with some fun kid-friendly activities like adopting a sloth, adopting a road, collecting broken crayons, and planting trees in the community. Even if you don’t join us, we invite you to help take care of our Earth by doing some environmentally-friendly things in your area!

Past Projects

Cards for sick kids

January 2019 | Bethesda, MD

Being in the hospital can always be scary for a child. That’s why we made handmade cards for sick kids. We had 290 cards made from over 50 families and from all over the world. From states like New Jersey, Texas, Michigan, Massachusetts, Illinois and even from as far away as Germany! The cards were donated to the awesome kids at The Children’s Inn in Bethesda, MD.

“We’re Cool” Bags

February 2019 | Gaithersburg, MD

Bullying is no fun! So, we raised awareness about “bullycide”. We got February 21st designated as Bullying Awareness Day in Gaithersburg, MD, we visited lawmakers on Capitol Hill to spread love on Valentine’s Day, we had a kid-led Bullying Awareness vigil online AND we took 200 “we’re cool” friendship bags to local schools for school counselors to give to bullying victims.

Clean water is a human right!

July 2018 | Flint, MI

The residents in Flint have not had clean water since April 25, 2014. That’s way too long without a basic human need. We went to social media to inspire good and raised an incredible $5K in under 5 weeks to purchase water for an entire senior living community.

Holiday love for the homeless

December 2018 | Atlanta, GA

The reason for the season is to count your blessings and to remember the less fortunate. We hit social media to ask for $5 for Hope and were blessed with over $325 in donations to give to the good folks at Atlanta-based Hope Thru Soap. We even personally drove the money down and helped out at their Kidz 4 Hope event.

SPREADING BIRTHDAY LOVE to the community

November 2018 | Gaithersburg, MD

What Better way to give back to others than to ask for donations for your birthday? That’s what we did and raised $634 to make care packs for the homeless. Each care pack was full of necessary toiletries and passed out on Thanksgiving Day!

“Life's most persistent and urgent question is... ‘what are you doing for others?’”
